...So the florist I booked I LOVE, but now i find myself second guessing the choices I made for flowers. I think I went too simple with the CP's and am suddenly hating the CP's we have...
Do any of you feel similar or am I just absolutely crazy?????

Re: Flowers...
i wouldn't worry, low cp's look really nice and besides, there's going to be so many great elements of your wedding that i'm sure the last thing the guests will be thinking about is 'wow thats a simple cp'.

Re: Flowers...
I don't have that problem yet, because i didn't have to make my decision about my flowers the day i booked.
I get to go in and have a design session with my florist and play with flowers to come up with my cp's and boqs to decide on what they will do for the day of. So as of now i'm not locked into a look just yet

Re: Flowers...
luckily my florist didn't ask me what kind of flowers i want yet that decision will come probably like closer to the wedding right before he show us the centerpieces so i have time to think about this. Another advantage i have with my florist is that i could choose any type of flowers i want. Maybe wait a bit until your wedding is getting closer and look at different centerpieces that way you can make the changes with your florist ahead of time

I'm sure you have time to change what you asked for. When the time comes to see your sample, if you dont like it- then change it around.

Re: Flowers...
all these quotes i got were depending on the flowers i chose. 3 out 5 florists told me i have 'good taste' when it comes to flowers so just be careful if you're going to change them.
btw, i found out a peony in June (it's bloom time) is $6 per flower

Re: Flowers...
I havent booked or done my flowers yet (next on our list)
But what might be happening and I think with alot of us is that you booked...ok your done now you have all this time to rethink and look at other ideas and alot of the times might think something is better then your org choice.
Just make sure you make the right decison of course but you never know maybe your new idea is THE ONE!

Re: Flowers...
If you picked something you like and its affordable i think you should go with it. In all the weddings I've been too, including reading reviews online, I have never seen a centerpiece that 'made' the wedding. You should be the most beautiful thing at your wedding, not your flowers.

Re: Flowers...
I met with 1 florists. She gave me a price for what i asked for and said that i didn't need to make a final decision on types of flowers until the month before since they have to be ordered anyway

About the peony...it cost that much because it is not in season in June. When I went to my first florist appt (at Pedestals), I was told peonies bloom in early Spring. It was not even an option as a flower.

Re: Flowers...
I have the same florist as you and he is VERY flexible with change, which is one of the reasons why I haven't had a sample made because I knew I would probably change it.
Just call Mike up and tell him what you're thinking. he'll be accomodating as long as you're not making drastic changes. And even if they are drastic, he'd probably cut u a good deal.
