Flowers

so i'm going to my first florist appt. this sat-I'm going to burtons and pedestals
what should i expect? Can anyone estimate how much they are going to quote me?
I don't want to spend more than 35000

and have about 200 expected guests so that probable 20 tall centerpieces

For 20 tall centerpieces it will most likely be more than 3500... tall centerpieces are expensive and you need 20 which is alot and you will need a lot of personal flowers. You can just say what can you give me for $3500 and they will design it to fit that budget i.e. smaller Bok's, centerpieces etc... But if you just went in without a budget for that much flowers could be as much as $5000

I'm not really sure -- I know the price difference for hi and low CP's at Burton is only $25 so we are doing half and half. We only have 12 (12pp@ each table). Because Burton charges a flat fee per piece (for any flower) you actually *might* be better off with going with a florist who charges by the type of flower.... I'm not sure though.

With Burtons, I can see that being under 3500 or so.

I think $3500 is a low budget for the flowers you need. Pedestals quoted me $85/centerpiece for low centerpieces with roses.

I found that high CPs run anywhere from $125-$200 per piece. $3,500 might me too low of a budget. You might have to vary what you have on each table.

when you go to pedastals ask for nadia tell her your budget and she will work with you

im paying 3400 with them and had 15 high cps...i got some other stuff too though of course..i would just tell them ur budget and they will work with u

My cuz told me that LA Blossom gives the best quotes! She had flowers that after the wedding we took home the cp and it lasted till Dec and she got married in Nov!!

I got a quote from Burtons just under $3500 which including bp flowers, 20 high cps!!!

You should def get within your budget from them!

The cost is dependent on

type of flowers- roses cost less than callas etc

Tall cp cost more

vase styles/designs

# of tables

I went with pedestals (nadia) , she helped me stay within my budget 2800 or less
wedding party 10 , parents flowers, grandparents, ushers
