Re: flowers
I have been debating back and forth on that. Good quality silk can cost as much as real flowers, but I am concerned with paying over $1,000 for somethign that will die in a week, so the silk may have a plus for the fact it will last

Re: flowers
I'm using real flowers for the bouquets, pew bows, centerpieces and altar arrangements. But I am giving my flower girl silk rose petals to throw on the aisle runner. I want a lot of petals on each side of the aisle runner, so it's cheaper for me to use silk petals. I also don't want real rose petals to stain my dress.

maybe u can use silk at some parts of the decor, but I think the silk ones won't come out well as BP flowers in pix. JMO

I agree. Silk can be just as expensive. But the good part is that it wont stain your dress (avoid red roses in your Bo-k or just be very careful)
real....if your trying to save money, inside of bo-k's, maybe just do each girl carrying a single rose or lily...i've seen that done and it looks so elegant.

If your girls are going to carry roses or calla lilies, you may consider getting them from an online vendor since it's not that hard to make them into a bouquet and it cost tons less. I know Costco, Sam's Club, and Fifty Flowers, Grower's Box sells them.
I'm actually doing all of my flowers myself except the bouquets. It's costing me about $2000 - $3000 less, and I'm getting Phalenophsis ordchids which is way better than what the florists were offering me for more money.
