flowers

Well I might be nuts for this one! I only really want the bridal party to have flowers and the flower girl to throw flowers but other than that I really dont think I want any other flowers...Am I crazy for this??

no lots of people don't really love flowers. you can do non-floral centerpieces like candles and you don't necessarily have to hold flowers, neither does your bridal party. Some people give their bridal party parasols to hold...some lanterns....candles.....crystal bok's......some brides even hold rosary or an old family bible (maybe even a new one you could start the tradition) the possibilities list goes on and on

no i dont think your crazy.

i personally love flowers and wanted a lot of flowers at my wedding....but if flowers are not your thing then there is nothing wrong with that.

you could always do some kind of candle centerpieces or something. It would still be very pretty!

Dont get me wrong I love flowers but I just dont want many lol I was thinking of doing a candle in a bowl with the beach sand around the bottom with 3 to 4 canndles around that with shells . then on other tables maybe do the shells around the candle! And im making them all on my own!

sounds really pretty! the candles are a great idea! i'm not doing flowers for centerpieces either. it's actually more common than you think.

nope not at all.... FH and I are not using flowers for CP..i love flowers and all but i really feel like its such a waste of money ( we have A LOT of tables) and i want to do sumthing different

no the only thing is what do i do with the centepieces after words lol! I know I WANT to keep one set and set it up on my hallway table. maybe ill give the rest away lol

Definitely not weird or crazy. I am not a big fan of flowers, they remind me of funerals. There are so many beautiful options for non-floral centerpieces!!
