Re: Flowers
Posted by Marianne13 This wasn't an option for me since my RH mandates that I use one of their house florists.
Really?? Why is that ok? What happens if you really wanted to use a particular florist?
I didn't know CHCC did that.

Re: Flowers
someone i know went tot the flower district in NYC and got pots for orchids..he then took them to a local guy who was inexpensive and he potted all the orchids. It looked really pretty in their pictures and he said everyone liked it b/c they took home a potted orchid CP at the end of the night. I am goint to Burtons in 2 weeks. I heard they have good prices.

Re: Flowers
Honestly we are having a small-ish wedding (7 total in the BP, ~110 guests) and if it weren't for having a chuppah our flowers would have probably been around $1300.
We are booked w/Flower Michele.

Re: Flowers
You would think small mom and pop type places charge less but the one I went into wanted $250 per centerpiece for a few dozens roses coming out of a tall plastic tube. I asked oh this isn't the vase right bc it looks like plastic and she goes no it's plastic, we put the flowers on that. Needless to say we left shortly after
