I just got back for the showcase at CB and i dont know if i am stupid or what but i did not realize flowers were SOOOOO expensive . every thing i pointed at was well over $100 . What is every onw paying for there centerpieces?

Mine are $100/centerpiece. Flowers are so expensive it's really ridiculous!!!

i honestly dont mind spending a lot of money on pictures you will have them forever but flowers are for like 8 hrs. and the centerpices really only like 5hrs

ITA thats why we're not doiong flowers. We are doing hurrican vases filled with ornaments. At least they're reusable and if anyone puts them on their tree they'll think of us and know where they came from

That's nice! I got topiary tree-like centerpieces at Michaels last year for $10 each (In album/ignore the brown ribbon YUCK). Try stores like Michaels, JoAnns, Kohls, HomeGoods you might find something!

we went with low ones to save some money... i couldn't justify spending 1k more for elaborate cp's that were only going to be there for a few hours, i rather use this money towards other costs..but thats just how i felt. To others, flowers are more important.

we are making stacks of presents in our color theme wrapped nicely with bows (will look sort of like a forthemodernbride card box sort of thing)
then putting candles around and maybe scattering some rose petals.
flowers i think... big waste of money.
look nice yes but SUCH A BIG EXPENSE forsolittletime.
