Hey ladies!! I feel like I've been a little MIA this week.. I had my friends wedding which I was a BM in but now it's over!! Can't wait to read through posts a little later and catch up on everything.. But for NOW, I need suggestions..
I want to go see some florists this summer, I originally had a list of a few florists but my list is dwindling.. I have an appointment with Burton's in the next couple weeks, hidden essence was on my list but I never heard back from her, and another florist on my list was the one for my friends wedding this weekend but the boutteneirs were dying before the ceremony even started.. I also have plans to talk to stylish events bc I had met the owner in person..
I'm looking for a really reasonable / inexpensive florist because I have a really simple (but specific) vision and I just can't handle spending a ton of money on flowers. Suggestions?! I need a company that is willing to communicate mostly over emails and meetings NOT phone!

I just booked flowers yesterday and went with Colonial in Bellmore. I LOVE Claudio, he made me a sample prior to booking and it was gorgeous. He's a perfectionist and I completely trust him to make everything amazing.
We looked at 5 florists- Burton's, Hidden Essence, Distinctive, Wicks and Colonial, so let me know if you want any info about them!

Definitely Flowers by Burton! They were fantastic and beyond reasonable with their pricing!

With All My Heart Floral. Lenea, the owner, and I did all our communication until the first meeting by email. She really got the vision I have (I sent her about 12 photos before going there), and she was reasonably priced.

Just wanted to say I never heard back from Hidden Essence either, after 2 email attempts. Disappointing since I heard so many good things about them :(

It is, but it's right by my venue. But, you really only have to go out there 3 times. Once for the initial meeting, once for your sample bouquet, and once about a week before your wedding to go over final details. Everything else is really done by email and regular mail. She sent me my contract and even made alterations to it through the mail.

I've been in close contact with Michelle from Hidden Essence. She says she's worked 6 weeks straight and has been uber busy. Give her a call today, I'm positive she'll either answer right away or get back to you within a few hours.

Just an update: she did email me back and apologized saying somehow the email she sent me got stuck in her draft folder and since she has been very quick to respond!!
