1. How far in advance do I need to check out flowers? I'm not exactly sure of colors yet since I want to wait until this spring to check out possible new styles/colors from J. Crew for BM dresses.
2. For my MOH, how would it work if I choose J. Crew for BM dresses? I like a purple color they have, but its just 1 shade.. I want something a bit darker for my MOH.. could they dye a dress?
3. If I want to add a green accent to my BM dresses, do you know if J. Crew could do that?
I haven't contacted J. Crew yet, (obviously), but I just want to get some ideas first if anyone has worked with them.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Flowers, and J.Crew BM dresses
not sure about J Crew but as for flowers you can start looking at florist and pricing them out. When I booked my florist in September 08 for my June 2010 wedding I was not sure of the color but I knew what i needed like how many BOK's, BOUT's, low centerpieces, alter flowers, cocktail centerpieces etc. then I picked my colors later on.

Re: Flowers, and J.Crew BM dresses
I don't think J. Crew would be able to dye the dress another color but they usually have several styles of dresses all in the same color. It might make sense to just have your all BMs wear one dress style and your MOH wear another. I used J. Crew for my wedding and all of my BMs and MOH wore the same color in whatever style they wanted (there were 8 in the party and 4 styles to choose from). Although two of my BMs also wore the same style dress as my sister, I had her wear a different color sash (the dresses were navy and she wore a fucshia sash) so that she would stand out.

Sorry I haven't been on the site in a long time and just saw this question. I hope it's not too late but it was not from J. Crew. She found thick satin ribbon at a fabric store that matched her shoes perfectly. J. Crew does sell sashes but you never know what colors they will offer and buying it at a fabric store was much cheaper.
