For those who booked flowers, how far in advance? And how does the payment plan work? How much deposit?

Hey hall twin

I contacted several florists about 9 months before, and many of them were booked already.

I visited one in my neighborhood and was really disappointed with the attitude I got. I would not book with them. We were on a tight budget and I needed someone to work with that.

I went to Argyle Flower Shoppe, the recommended vendor of VYC. I met with Maria, she was very understanding and listened to all my ideas. Once we got to know each other better she was not afraid to tell me if my idea was not going to work LOL. She worked with my budget and of course, they want you to buy more but it's up to you to set the limit. We got a GREAT deal on centerpieces, bouquets, and flower arrangements for the ceremony. They took a downpayment (seemed like they let us pick the amount) and the rest is due right before the wedding (cash or credit)

I also changed EVERYTHING (centerpieces, flowers, etc...) a few months later and they helped me with all that.

I booked mine 14 months in advance. 20% deposit, and the remaining is due 3 weeks prior to the wedding.

I think mine is the same... but im not 100% lol

I booked mine over a year out.
I had to pay $300 at the signing of the contract.

I have a payment due I believe in February and then the rest is due a few weeks before the wedding
