I WENT TO GO SEE BOTH OF THEM TODAY....EVERYTHING WAS GREAT UNTIL I WALKED INTO FLOWERS BY BRIAN..HAS ANYONE ELSE GOTTEN THE SAME VIBE OFF THE PLACE...NOTHNG BAD BUT I FELT RUSHED AND LIKE THE PERSON DIDN'T CARE AND JUST WANTED ME TO SIGN ON THE DOTTED LINE....ANOTHER THING WAS WE ASKED WHEN WE COULD SEE A SAMPLE OR ANY SAMPLES OF CP..AND THEY TOLD ME 3 MONTHS BEFORE MY WEDDING WE CAN COME IN A SEE THE SAMPLE CP....3 MONTHS? AND HE WANTS ME TO GIVE HIM A DEPOSIT OF 1000 DOLLARS TO HOLD THE DATE? I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT THE FLOWERS WILL LOOK LIKE?....I HEAR SUCH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THE PLACE..WHAT DO I DO...ANY PICS FROM PREVIOUS WEDDINGS?OR COMMENTS WILL HELP...THANKS...
AND ANY COMMENTS ON STEFANS?

I don't know anything about Flowers by Brian. But the 20% down thing, and centerpiece sample 3 months before is the same deal I get with Flower Michele. You have to trust them and get a good vibe. By looking at their past work you can tell what your centerpieces might look like. Also, if you book them and hate your centerpiece you have plenty of time (three months) to get it the way you want. The flowers for your wedding won't be ordered until like 2 weeks before. I learned this all at my last floral appointment. which was so fun, with John at Flower Michele!

stefens is amazing. I am getting my flowers from them. They are good friends of my brother in laws. My sister and brother both used them and they were great. Pedestals is real good also

I got the same exact feeling at Flowers by Brian. I felt rushed and they just wanted my money. I have an appointment with Stefans this weekend Ill let you know how things go. I met with Pedestals and loved them, Robert was amazing and so patient with me. I just have to see Stefans and I will make my final decision.

they are both awesome ... I have to make a decision which one I am going to use. russo's is amazing also... I had my engagment party their in the big room. My entire family got married their that is why I am getting married at the bourne mansion. you are going to love it .. the food and service is AMAZING.

Stefans was out of this world! I am still getting phone calls with compliments. I was so happy with them, they went above and beyond my picky expectations. I will try and scan some proofs soon!

I got the same vibe from Brian. The girl who helped me was nice. But I just felt a bad aura about the place. They did my CP right away and I was not impressed. The CP seemed thrown together and looked like everyone else's. Typical wedding factory I didn't want to me known as a number. I felt the same with Pedestals.
I wanted more of a personal vendor relationship with creative talent, you should check out Simply Stems. They are not mentioned much, I don't know why but they are great.

They made a sample for me. I hated it and then saw another one that I liked. I got a great price on the personal flowers. Good luck finding a florist

I had the same feeling with Flowers by Brian - but everything came out amazing. Here are some pix of my bouquet, my girls' bouquets, and my centerpiece. He does great work.
That was the only florist i DIDN'T get that vib from! I felt like Pedestals & Burtons just rushed me to just sign. I love FBB work. I've seen it at many affairs and i think they are great

I didn't initially meet with flowers by brian b/c I live out of state and couldn't come in to meet with florists. My parents were the one who booked him. I'm pretty sure Brian spent a lot of time with them at the initial meeting. I've dealt with Brian a couple of times since then and he totally took away any fears or doubts I had about the flowers. I never felt rushed there. I saw some flowers that were made for a wedding that night and they were beautiful. Then, I went back 2 weeks later and he made me a sample centerpiece that was gorgeous. The Crescent works with him all of the time and I'm sure he will do a beautiful job. He is also very accommodating. I need my bouquet and FI's flower at 7:30 am at the hotel (we're taking pics separately at another location) and he will send a truck just to drop off those flowers for me. I'm really glad my parents booked him.
