I haven't had my wedding yet but I booked w flowers by Brian. Fabiola was amazing they completey understood what I wante and were less expensive than another quote
I found that flowers by brian was pretty reasonable for what I want (considering I went to other places that were more $), but I left there really unhappy. The man we met with us half an hour later than what our appointment was supposed to be for. I would have been fine with this because I understand businesses can run behind schedules and I know personally I ask a lot of questions so maybe he was with someone similar. However, he was in the office like right next to where we were waiting and I was listening to him chat and gossip on the phone. When we finally were underway with our appointment, we went into the flower showroom which really is beautiful. When I asked to see a certain kind of flower, he went into their refrigerated room, and came back 20 minutes later because he said he ran into someone. I left there feeling unimportant and like my business didn't matter :-/
Is that the one with the shop in Howard Beach? We met with them back in October when we first started planning. I didn't like the consultant we met with. She seemed very gruff, and while the prices were reasonable compared to other places, we found a much better offer from Hidden Essence. There's another florist in Howard Beach we met with, and she was gruff too. I wonder if its the area.
I used Flowers by Brian for our wedding. I was not all that impressed and they were my one regret with my entire wedding. They were completely unsympathetic when I had to postpone my wedding because of the hurricane, made me pay for the flowers anyway (even though they probably used them for someone else, switched my consultant multiple times due people leaving, and made my bridal bouquet absolutely wrong! The kicker was when we had to postpone our wedding (which was stressful enough in itself), we went on our honeymoon only to come home and find a letter from their lawyer saying that Brian was suing us for not having our wedding flowers done! Brian is an arrogant jerk who dislikes 'confrontation', and has absolutely no sense when it comes to actually talking to people. The flowers were nice, definitley not worth what we paid for them though. I would say to go somewhere else.

A friend of mine got married last August and used Bella flowers. She was more than satisfied and said they were easy to work with. I'm booked with Lenea at With All My Heart Floral. She's located in east wind. She's the owner and the person you deal with which put me at ease.
Me too, Flynn14! The good reviews are amazing, and there are certainly more good than bad. But the bad are scary! I'm meeting with him for the first time on Tuesday, I'm going to ask him about some of the common complaints in the bad reviews. It seems like if you like him, you LOVE him and when you don't, you hate him!

I know we have to use them or fbb. Distintive to me was disorganized cost more and they didn't understand what I wanted. This is my personal opinion.
I just met with them today they were pretty reasonable and seemed like they really got what i wanted. i also i like the part that they will make me different samples of centerpieces until i find exactly what i like with no extra costs.
Boridizzy and flynn14, absolutely I'll let you know when I speak with him! And even if I'm too nervous to confront them, my mom certainly won't be!
