I met w/ Mike today over there and the prices/ options seem to good to be true. Has anyone already had a wedding/been to one using him? If so do you have any pictures I could see? Thanks so much in advance!

If you do a search on them a lot of people of said good things about them. I'll be up on LI for Christmas, and I think we're going to check them out. Do you mind sharing what prices they were giving you and what the different options are? Thanks so much!

Not at all! That's what these boards are for. We are getting a chuppah made w/ birch legs and flowers on top and in cluters along the legs, clusters of flowers for the aisles, 1 brides bouquet, 1 maid of honor, 5 bridesmaids, 8 boutinaires (sp), 1 escort table arrangement, 1 bathroom arrangement, 14 cocktail table centerpieces, 1 buffet table arrangement, a bar arrangement, passing tray greens and flowers, 16 centerpieces for the dinner, 1 dais table arrangement, and candles. We were quoted 2 different prices- 2600 if we use the temple's chuppah which he will decorate and 3100 if he uses his own. We have the choice of ANY flowers to be decided. Anything from roses to exotics. This price is unbelievable for all he is giving. He explained he can do it so low because he does buld and some brides choose high end and some low- it all averages out. I haven't made any decisions as of yet but he defintiely sounds knowledgable and gives you so much for your money. All our other quotes were substantially higher. HE said if we see anything in magazines he can copy it for us. Almost too good to be true- which is why we're concerned and want to see some photos.

A friend of mine is using him in January - she too said the prices were wonderful and her sister used them as well....she said their work is beautiful and that she highly recommends. I don't have any pictures...but they seem to do quite well by word of mouth....without a doubt they will be the first florist I check out when that hunt begins!! Good luck to you!

I booked them...one of the reasons he is cheaper

is because all he does is weddings. So we are not paying for them to have a fancy showroom and lots of staff. My hall does not officially recommend them but the manager told me that she loves his flowers and they are always beautiful. I booked him already too.

Thanks :) It must be my chuppah...when we looked throught the book, there was nothing like that in there. My mom and I described what we wanted, and he created it! I do remember them taking pictures of it.

And maybe they all take this into consideration, but no other florist ever mentioned it to me. When we were discussing the bouquet I wanted, and I told him I wanted a cascading bouquet, he asked me my height! I was surprised, and he told me that he always thought the bouquet should be appropriately sized for the bride, and not all bouquets 'work' for all brides. I NEVER would've thought of that. It just proved to me that he really knew his business. And, he was completely right! I was thrilled with his work that day....you will be too.
