Flowers by BURTONs

i made an appointment to see john this saturday. does anyone have any suggestions on what to ask them? i dont really know what to say just that we're hoping not to spend too much on flowers. i have no idea to what flowers or arrangements i want yet! also, i've read that some vendors let u keep the sample CP??

well Burtons doesnt make sample CP....

as for flowers whats great w. them...any flower you want is the same price!

not sure what your budget is for flowers but we got quoted 2300$ for all our flowers.

Just go in there and know approx how many ppl your inviting this way they quote you on the approx # of who will show..thats for CP

# of girls bo-k
# of guys boots
chucrch flowes if needed
parents
grandparents
toss petals they threw in for me for FG
cake flowers if you want
blessed mother (if needed)
readers (if you plan on getting them flowers)
you get your bo-k as well as a toss 1

did you book burton's for your flowers as well?? could you give me feedback with your experience with them? thank you!

good luck and have fun! If you choose candles with your center pieces, make sure they use dripless candles b/c I heard from another past bride that they used regular candles and the centerpieces ended up catching on fire! But that really goes for any florist.

I am going to call them today to make an appt let us know how your appt went....

hmmmmm...thats odd that they make them now! Well hey thats even better news! My sister used them, 2 friends of hers and my cousin..and none got CP samples...maybe its a new thing that they are offering?!

You should def call!!! I even called a few months ago and asked when I can see mine and they told me to come about 1 yr exactly b/4 the wedding so I can see exactly the way all the flowers I requested are going to look next yr.

I cannot wait!

well we booked them!

after a late night out friday both FH and i were hungover but were still able to meet with john at 9am. he was a big help and was very flexible with what we wanted we had some pictures of pieces that i was thnking of and he told us it wouldnt be a problem to duplicate them. he answered all my questions and even gave us lots of ideas. i like how he didnt try to sell us the world. he recommended only what we needed and anything extra was up to us. i really wanted orchids and they dont charge extra for that. he even gave me a 'jade' rose to keep

all we need now is a dj....

6 weeks before our wedding we're gonna meet again to finalize everything he never mentioned anything about a sample. do you think we should ask about that?

IF YOU DO... then call tomorrow and say... Since its close to my 1 yr before the date... Is it possible for your to make me a sample CP to see what it will look like.

Thats what he said he would do for me so I could see how the flowers look in the season that I was getting married in.

IF YOU DON'T... Then I guess you can't b/c you don't know what flowers you want yet and he won't know what to make.
