I'm planning to start meeting with florists, but I have no idea what a reasonable cost would be for flowers and was hoping I could get some ranges from you guys since the florists seem cagey in this regard.
I'm planning a July wedding and would like the basics--a couple of arrangements for the ceremony, a bouquet for myself and two bridesmaids, boutainneres for the men (4 including the groom), corsages for our mothers, and then table centerpieces for no less than 6 tables and no more than 8. Since the ceremony and reception will be in the same location, I'm hoping to move the ceremony flowers up to the reception for the gift tables, etc.
Any ranges would be very helpful!
Thank you!

Re: Flowers, Costs?
It really depends on what type of flowers you want. Some are more expensive than others. Calla lillies tend to a lot more $$$$$ than some other flowers. Do you have any idea what types you want to use?

Re: Flowers, Costs?
I'm thinking of going with a blue/white theme, so flowers like lavendar (actually an herb), roses, possibly hydrangea (which I love, though I'm told may not last in heat), possibly saliva or cornflowers. Beyond that, I'm not so sure. I would like some ivy plants, or ivy used as a filler also, and that should be quite inexpensive.
Thanks!

Re: Flowers, Costs?
I did my own centerpieces, so I did have itemized flowers. My prices were: $150 bride's bouquet (throwaway included) $65 MOH bouquet $15 corsages $6 boutonnieres $20 pew bouquets (not sure about this)
From what I have heard on here, a lot of the wedding florists give you a whole package and don't typically break it down for you. Hope that helps.

How did you find doing your own centerpieces? Was it manageable or stressful? I am considering getting my flowers from Growers Box online and having my BMs done the centerpieces.

Re: Flowers, Costs?
Well, it was not stressful at all, because I didn't do flowers
I did a lantern with a floating candle and bought a candle ring to put around it that had silk leaves, pinecones and fall fruits. It was not as spectacular as things I have seen on here, but they cost me about $20 a piece and it was a lot of money saved that I was able to put towards other things. I just had my SIL and friends set them up for me with the help of the matre'D. They were easier too, since I could bring everything to someone's house a few days before and they brought them to the reception for me. I also have 2 of them that were extras and will probably use them for c-pieces for anniversaries and Thanksgiving. So it is sort of nice to have them as a memento as well.

I used all Roses with Flowers By Brian and paid less than $2000
