they're returned to the florist, you're pretty much renting them
We are having high cp's and low cp's but in our contract we specified that we wanted to purchase them so that the guests can take them home. I am sure that they would have no problem charging you a little more for them.

one florist i met with said they'll wrap the flowers up at the end of the night when they come to collect the vases so that guests could take the flowers home

NM... I jsut saw in your profile you are using burtons. You get to keep the vases.
ETA: The metal stands you have to return b/c they are rented....but the flowers in a container on top of the stand/vase.

Oh okay, that's what confused me I think.... they made it seem like they weren't sure if I would be able to upgrade half my CP's to high's because they weren't sure that the metal stands would be available. When I told them I wanted glass, they say it would be no problem, but I couldn't figure out why.

The florist took ours back, but what our florist offered was 2 of their workers to come towards end of the night. They took each cp and divided it into a few arrangements and wrapped them up and handed them to guests as they left.
