It was a horrible experience that I went through, and it is extremely sad and unfortunate that I am being attacked like this, even by brides that don’t know me. I was in a car accident with my daughter and ended up in the hospital. In regards to the two affairs that I missed due to this, I horribly regret what happened and am doing what I can to make it up to them. As for the comments on the site, I have been attacked with flagrant lies. Whether it be that I was in jail, my mother was in Florida, and so on. The girls that know me are well aware of the type person I am and the pride I take in doing each and every affair. I love my job and truly have a passion for it. I am truly heartbroken on the two affairs that I did not handle but for people to slam me and make judgements off of that is completely unfair. There are many, many girls out there who have raved over my past work and I intend to keep the girls happy going forward. Again, I truly apologize for what happened.

so what happens now? do you keep her as a recommended vendor?

I think until she refund those brides, she should be blacklisted completely.

Okay, we received an email from the vendor. Other than a voice mail she left for Client Services stating the same thing as the email this is the only communication we have received and it came today.

First, I'd like to repeat that this is the only thread that should be used in regard to this situation. All others will be removed. Also, we are just posting the email we received. We have not and can not look into the claims of this email.

This is all well and good. But if she was making things right, we'd be hearing about that too and there wouldn't be all this speculation and 'lies' going around. The problem isn't that people are ready to not trust her, in fact many girls defended her and refused to believe she could no call/no show at someone's wedding. The problem is that people don't know what to believe since so many stories have flown around. Set the record straight and do it via the brides that have been damaged the most, the ones that had to scramble to get flowers for their wedding days these past 2-3 weeks.

Well said. If she was really sorry for those 'two' affairs she missed (I guess LiL OC's shower didn't rate her regret. ) she'd be calling THOSE girls and not e-mailing CS. And BS that she STILL cannot use the phone? Are you kidding me?!

It's obvious she just can't take the heat!!

I know for a fact that she has let at least 4 brides down.

EXACTLY!!!! How about stop crying to CS about all of this stuff that you can't prove and rectify the situation with the poor brides who had no flowers!!!!!! I would MAKE SURE that I explained everything to them as well as gave them a refund if I wanted to at least TRY to keep my good reputation. Once again-- DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!!!!

Thank you CS for the update and sharing the e-mail with us. But it's a very poor attempt by a business woman to save her credability - if it were me, my business on the line I would be ALLL over this issue to make sure it was fixed WEEKS ago. Her lack of interest in trying to fix everything is beyond me and that really worries me.

I'm still stand by my decision to go with another florist. It's all just too shady to deal with and I don't want to be in a panic when the day of the wedding comes and she doesn't show up and FH and I are out our hard earned/saved money for this wedding.

CS - Bing or Google Gina Laplaca Huges and see what comes up. I bet you see articles relating to her being arrested for DWI/DUI.

I wish all of you girls good luck on your weddings and for those still trusting this Gina please rethink that and get yourselves a florist you can trust.
