Ok, so I travel a lot for work and have had very little time to deal with flowers, but my wedding is March 15th, and my florist is going to kill me if I don't make some decisions - and I don't blame her.
My bridesmaids are in a gorgeous hunter green, and we are having a celtic themed wedding. Our cake is a dark chocolate with white gumpaste roses and hunter green leaves cascading down the side.
What sort of bouquets do I go with? I was thinking either I should have an all white bouquet with green foliage - or my girls should - to tie in with the cake. But I also want SOME color because the color of the bouquets will fill various vases on our tabletops - think same type of vase, different heights, and lots of tea lights.
UGH! I am SO bad at this - I have had no time to plan this part out and I am wigging.
I love red, but had to nix it because it would look too Christmasy. Second favorites are yellow and orange. Any ideas ladies?
Needing advice desperately!

Re: Flowers - HELP
What about sticking with the green - just using pale shades for the flowers. That should make it easy in terms of keeping it all matching and working within your theme.

Re: Flowers - HELP
How about some blue to complement the green? I was thinking blue irises, but there are some other blues that would look wonderful as well. Also I think there are some really dark red roses that might not be too christmasy - especially black magics?

Re: Flowers - HELP
here's a suggestion for tulips - they're also in season from Jan - April, which always helps!!
also saw these....since you like orange and yellow these might balance well with the green dress. I'd probably add some green filler to pull it together...
Thanks guys - I had also thought of blue, green and whte bouquets because blue is a lucky color in ancient irish culture. But I can't find any blue bouquets that are not too blue. Ugh. Do you all know of any web sites?

Re: Flowers - HELP
i know these are bridal bouquets but in a smaller version they may look great with the dresses and the one has blue in it.
