Just wondering if you guys were having/had the same flowers in your bouquets and centerpieces? Like if you had blue hydrangea in your bouquet, did you have blue hydrangea in your centerpieces?

I am, but it just happend to work out that way. I dont think they have to match.

My centerpieces and bouquets didn't match. They shared some of the same flowers, but didn't match.
I have also been to a few weddings were they didn't match.

They absolutely do not have to match. Some of our flowers match, but there are a lot more different types in my CPs than in my BoKs.

My centerpieces matched my Bridesmaids bouquets -- I wanted everything to match.
Its hard to tell in the picture, but they were hot pink, light pink and pink with dark edge.
I am using hydrangeas in both, as it turns out, but we are mixing other flowers (roses and ivy) into the centerpieces. I liked using the color blue throughout the wedding, but you certainly don't have to do this.
