I have some florist appointments this weekend and FMIL told me not to forget the flowers for the bathroom. Do you think she is serious??? Did anyone else do flowers for the bathroom? I definitely was not planning on this!

Re: Flowers in the bathroom?
We are having a little tin filled with roses for the women's bathrooms. The florist is throwing it in for free. I wouldn't do it if i had to pay :).

I would say yes, but something small.... just a little basket of something. My hall includes them, but I remember my florist asking me if I needed it. They shouldn't cost too much more, you don't need a huge display or anything.

Are you sharing a bathroom with another party then I wouldn't bother. We paid for small rose arrangement in the ladies room. I really don't think it is necessary though. I never even went in the ladies room so I don't know if it was even there!

We are the only affair...at the club.
I think I am going to try to get something thrown in for free....it would look pretty but I really want to try to stick to my budget since I didnt for anything else. I also need a huppah so my cost is already starting high

Re: Flowers in the bathroom?
I'm not going to do flowers but I'm going to put a basket of beauty products and such that I will decorate with silk flowers and ribbon. Maybe I'll put a few votive candles in the bathroom though.

I am not even doing flowers in the church to save money, I am not about to worry about flowers in the bathroom!

Re: Flowers in the bathroom?
Our florist took care of that. But instead of flowers, something a lot cheaper would be some nice scented candles.

Re: Flowers in the bathroom?
I'm having flowers in there but I'm raiding mom's garden, FMIL's garden, etc... I woulnd't pay for it, it's not necessary, but it is a nice touch. They don't have to match your centerpieces, just get some flowers form the supermarket if no one has a garden.

Re: Flowers in the bathroom?
I would love to be able to do that stuff for a few things...like railings in front, gazebo, bridal suite...But how does it get there....drop off day before??

Re: Flowers in the bathroom?
I hadn't thought that far! LOL!! But I guess it could be done the day before, or put a trustworthy family/friend in charge of it to get to the reception site before the other guests and put it in the bathroom or wherever you want it. They'll still look fresh and beautiful if they get put there the day before.
