Has anyone done this for your wedding day? I see it in pictures all the time and love the look of some white flowers next to a low bun. But, I was wondering if you use real or silk, and do you just tick them in with bobby pins? Anyone have experience?

i soooo wanted to do this. i did it for my prom and loooved how it looked, but for the wedding, i actually bought one of those crystal giant bobby pin things and stuck it behind my ear a bit and it looked pretty. your florist can do this, too. you can have real flowers attached to a comb. totally depends on size of flower. but no doubt, it looks classy and elegant!

My dress is so elegant Im not sure I can get away with flowers, but thats what I want. I just dont feel that a tiara in the backyard overlooking the ocean goes as well.

i have always wanted to wear a gardenia in my hair, next to a low bun. i'm going to wear a real one, but thought i might order a silk one just in case. i like this one from Late Bloomer Studio
Thanks for the info. I think that a flower next to a bun is the most elegant way to go (IMO). I think tiaras are great, just not for me. Here is a picture of my dress. A flower would go, don't you think????
I LOVE flowers in the hair!!! i'm not a tiara person either, nor a high up-do type of gal.
