hi girls i really want to wear a flower in my hair..but i heard fresh ones tu rn brown by the middle of the day..do i get extra ones to be replaced or do u use fake ones?any suggestions on which flowers held up best would be great and also did u get them from the florist that u used..thanks girls
I used a bunch of small orchids. They did not turn brown, and held up beautifully. My florist provided them, and attached wires to them. I think any florist knows how to do it. My hairdresser sprayed hairspray over the flowers, she said that helps them stay. Go for it -- I'm so glad I used fresh flowers over a headpiece -- it was so much more affordable, but also the romantic look I really wanted.
MsPotterhead is right, orchids hold up veryyy well.
i like that idea of doing flowers. My friend did that for her wedding this past July. Actually, she did vines. She had a whole 'greek goddess' thing going on. It looked beautiful!! She used fake. I probably would too, just to be on the safe side.
if u go for real flowers i'd get extras just in case... honestly mine was a fake one from walmart! lol. here's a pic..
