flowers - Need help w/ quantity

how many roses in bouteneire(sp?)...

how many roses in corsages...

any other flowers that should be used instead??

I would say 1 rose in the bout. But they always add a little thing either staphanotis or baby's breat. I am not sure on a corsage I would say 5 or 6.

My ex's sister was getting married. And I wanted to make sure everyone had their corsages and bouts. Well the groom had the huge corsage on his lapel. I was like, 'what are you wearing???' He said that he thought he got the bigger one while the best man had on the other corsage. What an idiot!!! Could you imagine??? No one would have told him because he was wearing it around and just about to go to the from of the hall to get married. lol.

lol.. i think ill have to give mike instructions so he doesnt put on the wrong one.. ill stick with 1 rose for the bout....

for the corsage the guy was telling me two roses? is that a little cheap looking? should it be an orchid or something?

orchids are lovely traditional wedding corsages. We had cymbidium orchids (the traditional orchid) for Al's mom and dendrobium orchids (a smaller bloom) for my mom.

Roses are nice too, but 5-6 seems like alot. That may be really annoying to wear all day long with that weight. You're better off keeping it smaller and light. We used roses for some other corsages, but I don't know how many roses were in each...

--just looked though pics, looks like 2-3 roses in each (these were corsages for aunts, godmothers and readers).

Jen, that is sooo funny. I am LMAO, that sounds like something my FH would do. I'll have to make sure someone checks him the day of our wedding.

Anyway, my guys boutineieres are all one rose and then they have ivy mixed with it. I am a big fan of ivy and have it in all my flowers for the wedding. The corsages have 5 or 6 roses, with baby breath and ivy.
