Re: flowers search

I went to Burtons -- I had about the same amout as you -- maybe a couple of fewer things, but with 10 high centerpieces -- and I'm paying less than $2K.

Burtons works on a 'Any Flower - Any Style' pricing deal --> ex: high centerpieces have a set price, low centerpieces have a set price, etc.. regardless of the flower.

The main thing to keep in mind is that Burtons -- unlike a more expensive florist -- will not import special/out-of-season blooms for you for the set price, so it's a good idea to bear that in mind when you decide on flowers.

Personally - on my first appointment and had one color scheme in mind -- but by the time I had my follw up appointment to choose flowers and styles --> I had totally changed my mind, and it wasn't an issue at all.

Basically -- if you want something very exotic or different -- you'll want to make sure they can do it before you sign up, so be specific. If you're pretty easy-going, and will choose standard flowers in standard styles, you'll be fine if you don't know exactly what you want.

I don't know how the other florist works...

Hope it helps!

Re: flowers search

John (Flower Michele) can help you figure out what you want (types of roses, etc.). He's got great ideas and is very creative - he also takes the time to figure out what's perfect for you. He was so wonderful to work with and my flowers were incredible!

You don't need to know everything at the first meeting - we worked out the details along the way.

Re: flowers search

I booked Burtons. Good thing he has his policies about any flower because over the last year since I booked him my ideas have evolved and changed. I went from wanting fall flowers to all roses and shades of purples. Another florist would have had to redo my entire contract and give me a totally new (and much higher) price.
