flowers vs BM dresses

flowers vs BM dresses

which need to be done first....

I now what color I want the BM dresses to be but that may change. I am afraid of getting flowers and them not matching the dresses or soemthing.

That's why I was wondering if I should get BM dresses first? or flowers?

I already have my color scheme picked out, but I am going to get the BM dresses first and them bring a color swatch to the florist for them to match.

oooh good question! i know what color my BM dresses will be, but idk what style yet. i had planned on booking the florist before my BM dresses were picked.

if you're not sure about BM dress color or you think there's a good chance it could change, i would wait until you figure that out before picking flowers. unless the florist says its not a problem for you to switch at a later date

I am doing light blue and champagne as my colors. but I was going to do light blue dresses with either a dark blue or champagne sash (depending on BM or MOH) but now I dont know what color flwoers to do - I dont want them to clash if I do blue flowers also. then if I do white for them - what color do I do? Then i was thinking bright colored flowers but I dont know how that woudl look with the dresses... UGHHHHHHH!
dresses and flowers are kind of intertwined for me and I dont know what to do :(

I would say pick the color of the BM dresses first - unless you are going with black BM dresses than you don't have to worry. Some florist suggest bringing a swatch of the color of the BM dresses before picking out flowers.

thanks! I am jstu afraid they wont show up in pics that great, or they will wash out with the dress. that's what happened to my friend. but those all look nice in pics!

I've been going back and forth about this too - but i think im going to pick the BM dresses first. I have my color scheme in mind and know what color i want for the BM but i also know there are different shades and what not counting on the material.

So i figure - get the dresses first, then have a swatch of the color/material and take it from there.

Dresses first. Also, most florists wil meet with you again a month before the wedding. Brides change their minds with types of flowers and color. I booked my florist and still am not sure about the color. I just have to let her know a month before when we have our final meeting.

Dont stress!!!!!!!! It will all fall into place. :)

I think I'll get the dresses first as most girls suggest... I have been set on black, but if I change my mind while shopping, I don't want to get stuck with flowers that don't match! Flowers might be one of the last things we do.

I picked a color scheme - b/c im in the fall, i'm going with orange, burgundy, etc.

So I went with flowers first, then I'm gonna do BM gowns in the fall of this year.

thanks girls! :) I am trying not to stress. and seeing as how i m losing FH for a few months while he is busy racing - I might as well do BM dresses first since he doesn't have to be there for that
