Hi guys...just wondering if you are picking up your personal flowers (bridal party) or having them delivered to your house?
Wondered if I can save some more $$$ by having them picked up since my wedding is not till the evening.

Re: Flowers...Delivery
My wedding was in the morning. We had our flowers delivered to the hall in the morning!

Re: Flowers...Delivery
I have a florist that lives right by my house. We are using him for the ceremony flowers and personal flowers. He is actually making a few trips- first he's coming to my hotel (which is only a couple miles from his shop) and then he's going to the church- which is also only a couple miles from his shop. I am not being charged for the delivery.

I had my flowers delivered to the house. They didn't charge anything. Plus, even though your wedding is not til the evening, you still want to get them a little beforehand for pictures if the photographer is coming to the house. My wedding was at 3:00 and we had the flowers delivered at 12:30. I wanted to make sure they got there on time and I had plenty of time to take pics with my camera and then when the photographer got there.

Re: Flowers...Delivery
I'm using Wicks in Baldwin.
They really are great but I'm just trying to save every penny I can muster at this point. But you are right..50.00 is trivial.

I agree about it being a hassle. Do you want to worry about who's getting them or whether or not you'll have time to go get them? I think you should just pay the 50 bucks so it's one less thing to think about. Although I do think that's ridiculous that they are charging you for delivery.

Re: Flowers...Delivery
going to get them is not a problem. My dad is doing that if I so desire. The photographer will be at the house around 2 so I am not as rushed as a morning wedding.
