So this is the last major vendor thing to take care of and I told myself I wouldnt spend more than $2000 on flowers but I have been to 7 places already in westchester and LI and they are all in the 3800-5000 range. This is what I have:
Just church bows and maybe flowers on pews My bo-k MOH and 6 BM Groom and 5 GM 2 mothers 2 fathers 2 grandfathers 1 grandmother 1 ring bearer
18 Tall CP averaging 125-150 each with mainly roses, stock, lisianthus, etc. (nothing crazy)
I went to Flower Michele b/c I heard such good things and they wanted 5000 and were the most expensive (the rest were no more than 4000 for the same exact thing)
Anyone have any suggestions??? This sounds like too much. what do u think??? I want to get this out of the way already!!!!

You might want to consider scaling back the centerpieces -- if you want a $125 tall centerpiece and you need 18 of them, then you are already at $2250.

yea I agree- maybe try alternating low & high centerpeices on the tables so that it saves you a little- I have seen this at a couple weddings and it looks nice.

I agree, you're already over budget...,you might want to scale back on the tall centerpieces. maybe a figure of $75 per centerpiece would work better within your budget so you can still have some leftover money for personal bouquets. you also have a lot of bms to think about....have you seen Designs by Rose?

I agree with the hi/low piece...hi's are more $$ if you mix hi and low you should bring the $$ down.

Re: Flowers~disappointed!
hmm I dont know...I used FM and got
Brida bok-peonies and rununculus, hosta leaves MOH bok-peonies and rununculus, hosta leaves 3 BMs boks-Peonies rununculus, hosta leaves 1 Groom bout-2 roses 1 BM Bout-2 roses 2 corsages for moms-roses 2 dads-2 roses 1 grandfather-2 roses 5 GM bours-single rose 1 RB-single rose 15 candle CPs, roses, rose heads, glass hurricanes, votives ROse petals for escort table Cake flowers An arrangement for my house
for WAY WAY WAY less then the price you listed-I mean a ridiculous amount less....something is not right. You are only using roses? If you are getting 18 high CPs and they are 150 each that comes to 2700-the rest of your flowers are 2300

It's definitely the high centerpieces that are eating away at your budget. You should consider scaling that back if you want to save $$.

Re: Flowers~disappointed!
thanks for all the info/help!! So far in westchester I have looked at forever in bloom, westchester floral, arcadia florist, and designs by daniel. Arcadia was the cheapest so far! I was very surprised.
