How much are you girls spending on flowers and what are you getting? also with what vendor??
i am looking to get low centerpieces, but i dont want to spend crazy money. anyone have any quotes??

Well this will be the next vendor we book, we already made an appt...I dont know yet how much we'll spend, haven't really set a budget...Want to see first how much it would cost to get CP's we want, and all the other flowers.

i know that for high centerpieces they can start around $125 & up depending on what type of flowers you want and how many in each CP.

Flowers by Burton. I am getting all bouquets, boutineers, nose gays, petals and then loose flowers to use in my own centerpieces (100 stems) this will cost me $614 I think was the number. I may have to order more stems so that will be .62 a stem. This is for any type of flower- doesn't matter what kind only how many. We are not using them for our ceremony as the hall does this for me. So if you add in ceremony and their created center pieces the price will be higher, but will prolly beat most other people.

2 baskets for church pew bows 15 low CPs bo-ks for me, MOH, BM, 2 Jr BM flower ball for FG flower basket for FG petals arrangement for my house dais CP bouts for the guys corsages for a bunch of girls
about $2K designs by rose - LOVE THEM!

It really all depends on how many people is in ur bridal party. What type of flowers (if they're not in season, the charge you more). How many centerpieces? If you want the church decorated How much work has to be put into it Things like that. But the one I'm thinking about is about $2000+ I hope this helps.

this is great! but you are making your own centerpieces right?? i doubt i will be able to pull that off...it makes me real nervous that the flowers will wilt or something. but i am going to look into them

What cp's do you want?
just a little info: roses are one of the cheapest flowers to use, always in season plus it takes very little to make it look pretty.
You have to keep in mind whether or now the flower is in season, if its not then it will be ALOT more...Peonies can be expensive, cala lillies are expensive...I asked about cherry blossom trees last night and they said for may it would be expensive since its out of season...I am not a flower expert so dont know wth is in season lol, except for the VERY FEW i listed hahahaha

I want to set the budget to be $1500 to $2K - flowers aren't important to us.
we're not decorating the church and we're only splurging on my bouquet (it's in a lot of pics vs. the BM bouquets) and CPs (our RH has pinspot lighting that accentuates CPs so they have to be somewhat pretty.

Cherry Blossoms are in bloom in late february - march. I know cala lillies are expensive also. So are orchids. Roses are cheap.
When you go to the floirst ask them what is in bloom that time of year. it will be cheaper to get somehting that is in bloom. and if you lik eone particular flowerr you can ask them to see if there is one similar that is in bloom.

Cherry blossoms are in season in the winter, i think she said last night, which probably is bc when i went last week to the wholesale flower district they ALL had cherry blossom

I'd like to do roses and tulips. I spoke with a few florists about the tulips. They said in late May tulips are not really in-season, but they can still get them of course, but colors might be limited. I originally wanted to do all tulips for the bo-k's but I'm afraid that they may wilt and not look so good so I think I'm gonna mix it up. I'm not really sure how much I'm spending yet. Flowers are important to me but I don't want to spend a ridiculous amount.

I'm actually looking for a very branch based centerpiece. I am hoping that since there are less flowers involved, it would be less expensive, but somehow I doubt that...

well thats what my FH was asking about last night, there was an all branch centerpiece and yeah not really less expensive...Thats why i asked about cherry blossoms bc that is one brach cp I like ALOT...Also when i went to the wholesale flower district, they had two dozen roses for $17 but meanwhile 5 branches of cherry blossoms were $35

as far as i know thats the only color...You could try other branch like cp's i guess
