Re: Flu shot & Excedrin?
Dying may have been an overstatement. My arm is killing me and i'm anticipating a headache as always...but my hand feels cold which is new to me. I've been getting flu shots for about 4 years now. ANd I hate it every time! My arm will hurt for at least 4 days

I had mine on Saturday. The only side effect I had was that my arm was sooo sore Sat night and yesterday but today it feels fine. If it's just the sore arm I would take some advil or motrin. If it's something more serious I would call the dr. Feel better!

I felt fine right after the shot, the next morning, it felt like a rock was under my skin! It killed and I kept rubbing it all day to make it feel better, it took about a day and a half to feel normal again.

Its normal to feel a knot under the skin right where you get the shot, as well as pain. Take some Motrin or Tylenol and it should help. The only thing to be really concerned about is if you start feeling numb in your legs, then go to the doctor.

Advil/Motrin/ibuprofen is your best bet considering it will ease muscle soreness better than Tylenol/Excedrin/acetaminophen.

I agree. But there should be no problem taking either.
