I would think my 5 year old and 18 month old should get ithe flu shot since the flu season is suppose to be bad, but my ped says 'no' becasue my kids are healthy and there is a preservative (thimerisol) in the flu shot that she is not comfortable giving to young children whos brain is still developing. What are your docs telling you?
I asked the nurse at my peds office today about it. I didnt know they used thimerisol in them!!!! She said she thinks my ped recommends getting one but I asked him last year and he said no cause she is home with me and not in school. They recommend pregnant women get them... how can they give pregos mercury?????
