I fly with them all the time - we have a ton of frequent flyer miles with them, so we always use them (we get priority boarding and check-in, upgrades, etc.).My experiences have varied - some good, some bad. There's more leg room in the coach seats, which is nice. Otherwise, I don't think they're much better or worse than the others.

the do have more leg room...but that is ending soon...not sure when...

Erica are you sure about that leg room? I hope not!! I'm tall!
I always fly AA and haven't had too many problems - DH uses them frequently for work and likes them too.

they're reducing the leg room on some planes - but not ALL! We just got a letter on it the other day. I don't remember the details.

I have flown them at least 20 or 30 times over the years and have never had a problem with them - I like the fact that the seats are comfortable - I have long legs and there is more leg room - I can tell you that Marcela1654 did not have a good experience with them recently. I think all the airlines have their ups and downs - and it really comes down to whether you got the bad or the good experience as to whether you like them or not

i fly AA for work 8-10 times a year. i LOVE the extra leg room!!!! i've never had a serious problem with them, just normal things - turbulence, delays, etc. never had a lost piece of luggage with them
