Went to my MOH's bridal shower last night. Her FMIL showed up 5 hours late. My friend had just finished talking about how none of her FH's family showed up and then her FMIL walks through the door. She didn't know if to be happy she showed up or annoyed that she came 5 hours after it started.
How would you handle the situation?
I think I would be pissed off if my FMIL showed up 5 hours late. She might have well not shown up.

THATS CRAZY...5 HOURS LATE?? how long was the bridal shower? i mean if your going to show up that late you should have not even went..... i feel bad that ***** and is so rude :(

Well that's obnoxious.
If I were her, I'd be courteous enough at the shower, but then afterwards FH would definitely be having a word with his mother.

Five hours is RIDICULOUS...
At that point I would have been so hurt and upset that I think when she showed up I would tell her the shower was over so no need to even come in...
Well I say that... but for FH's sake I probably would just say hello to the woman and then freak out to him later and make him say something,
