are you ladies bringing your FMIL to any of your fittings or are you just taking your mom? my mom is very traditional and says I dont have to take FMIL..what is everyone doing?

I just took my Mom.......actually she is the only person to see my dress at all (besides all of you ) ......I want everyone to be suprized!!!!!

i did---to one of them--only because i felt like i should let her be there for something. she didn't really have any input or anyting into the entire wedding
but i think your mom probably just wants some time between her and her daughter---so just bring mom only!

i just brought my mom. i didn't want to bring anyone else b/c i think my mom might have been upset. it was nice just the two of us!

I brought her with me once while I was still deciding between dresses, so she has seen my dress.
I am only brining my mom to my 1st fitting, no one else even knows when it is. I think the 1st fitting can be stressful, and maybe even disappointing if it doesn't really fit the way you hoped it would.
I will invite my BP (or at least my MOH) to my 2nd fitting. Not sure about FMIL, I might invite her to the 2nd fitting.

My mom passed, so I took my sis.
Monday is my next fitting, and I am taking my FMIL so we can do her fitting as well. It brings her joy to be there, and at 82 and sick with cancer, whatever makes her happy makes us happy.
If you have a good relationship with your FMIL, go ahead and bring her along. Does your mom get along with her as well ?

When I went to order the dress both came with me. My mom and FMIL are actually very close. I included FMIL on every single detail of my wedding. I am very lucky to be so close with her!!!
