so my SIL is getting married this june, my FMIL bought this very nice dress to wear to her daughters wedding, my Future grandmother inlaw, also bought a very nice dress, both who spent a nice amount on there dresses, but plan on wearing them to My wedding next year. I can understand my FMIL's dress is chocolate, that is fine but the grandmothers is green like a sage that is going to be my BM dresses, should i be upset at this all? !

that's a tough one...is it the exact color of your BMs dresses??? Me personally, I wouldn't fret over it. Especially if it's the second time she is wearing the dress...people will have already seen her in it...the novelty will have worn off, and believe me, all eyes will be on you!!

i want a sage color, but when i showed my fmil my possible bm dresses, she said that was the same color as her mothers dress, and she would be wearing it to both weddings, i really dont mind the fact that both of them are wearing there dresses to both weddings it is just the grandmothers dress color!

maybe once you make a firm decision on the dresses, she'll decide not to wear hers!! The only other way I can think of to not have her wear the dress is maybe your FH and you can treat her to a nice dress for her b-day or a holiday???

no his grandmother is cheap she will wear the dress and not think twice, and if i say something they will not come

oh man. that is a rough one!!! but like i said before... people will have already seen her in it , they'll know she's worn it once before. i wouldn't risk having them not come...that would probably upset your FH...and we don't want unhappy grooms!!! lol i hope it works out, and just remember, you will be a stunning bride, and noone will take that away from you on your special day!!
