Yes, you read correctly!! I have posted a few times about issues with her....
Well, last week, she came into the office and We had it Out!!! She told me that I have a Stick up my *** and that I'm taking her son from her - meanwhile, we have dinner with them like once a week!!!! Besides, my issues with her stem back to when she ripped me a new one the day after I buried my Grandmother (whom was like my mother)...only for papers that were not filed!!! (FH and his father own an electrical business).
Anyways, We Both Finally Told each other how we Really felt (tuns of yelling and screaming) and now, Things are a Cagillion Times better!!! I think I earned a lot of respect from her by standing up to her! I am soooo glad I got to say what I wanted to and we both got EVERYTHING off of our chests!!
Just posting this as advice to girls with similar probs with FMIL....Don't be Afraid to Speak your Mind - They may just want to be sure that you are a Strong Enough Woman to take care of their Son!!! Feeling very Liberated!!!!

Wow...glad it helped your relationship..sometimes you can't just keep things bottled up...it has to come out to feel free of it.

He was an awesome sport about it....all he had to say was 'I'm glad you got to say what you wanted to say, I know it's been bothering you for a while'.
And YES!!! Things are so much better - It relieved all of the tention and we now both know where we stand with each other!! Thank gosh - I couldnt live like that forever....nasty comments here and there.....

lol thats great that you got to voice what you were feeling and hopefully now you both can build from the bottom up instead of just suffering and trying to be fake with eachother!

It really might not be as bad as you are guessing!! I was dreading it, but it actually worked!!! And the way she is, I did not expect her to respond the way she did - you may be pleasantly Surprised!!!

That's awesome!!!!! So much better the pent up frustration...especailly once kids are involved!!! Im glad you guys cleared things up before the wedding and kids!!!
My FSIL (my fh's brother's wife) and my FMIL have a horrible relationship and now my FMIL isn't close with her grandson...they do things to spite eachother now.. It's horrible!!!
