Yes, you read correctly!! I have posted a few times about issues with her....
Well, last week, she came into the office and We had it Out!!! She told me that I have a Stick up my *** and that I'm taking her son from her - meanwhile, we have dinner with them like once a week!!!! Besides, my issues with her stem back to when she ripped me a new one the day after I buried my Grandmother (whom was like my mother)...only for papers that were not filed!!! (FH and his father own an electrical business).
Anyways, We Both Finally Told each other how we Really felt (tuns of yelling and screaming) and now, Things are a Cagillion Times better!!! I think I earned a lot of respect from her by standing up to her! I am soooo glad I got to say what I wanted to and we both got EVERYTHING off of our chests!!
Just posting this as advice to girls with similar probs with FMIL....Don't be Afraid to Speak your Mind - They may just want to be sure that you are a Strong Enough Woman to take care of their Son!!! Feeling very Liberated!!!!

omg good for you! my fmil won't give me the time of day so I'll never have to stand up to her. She's actually very nice when I talk to her. I think she just doesn't want me to marry her son

wow im glad u said what you had to say....my fmil always told me if there is something on your mind be honest and let it out....and i have never had issues with her but i can tell her anything if i had to. good for you
