FMIL Day Of Makeup

What did your FMIL do for their day of makeup??

I am getting ready in a hotel in Nassau and my FH is getting ready at his house in Suffolk. My FMIL wants to get her makeup done, but its too far for her to come to us and then go back home and get dresses and ready for everything there.

She was asking me about having someone to come to her house, but I didn't know if someone would do that for just one person (probably very expensive).

Thoughts???

Ppl will def travel; my mother is a professional makeup artist and travels all the time on w/e's for partys, weddings, you name it. It is obvi more expensive than the salon bc they are traveling but if you look around you can find a reasonable quote! Also, maybe your FMIL can just go to her local salon where a makeup artist works that morning?

i'm not sure if a MUA would travel just for 1 person. Usually they require a minimum, most them of being at least 3.

Have her get ready with you and your girls at the hotel! Or, if she's not your favorite person, suggest her going to a local salon.

I would suggest a salon close to her.

be happy FMIL wants her makeup done...mine didnt! she got her hair done with us at the hotel and then sat and watched as everyone else got makeup done. oh well - her loss

anyway, i would suggest a local salon....mua wont travel for one person.

Try Kelly with Glam me up or Lisa Marie at misslisamarie.com

Lisa Marie is a friend of a friends and she usually travels..cant hurt to try

thanks girls.. she really wants to get ready with us, but she also wants to spend the morning with my FH and she can't do both. I'd hate for her to miss him getting ready at home before he gets married.
