FMIL got mad cause I said something about dying shoes and she said wait.. I thought you told the girls to buy silver shoes and I was like, I did, but MY shoes are going to be my something blue and she said 'You're scaring me Jamie. That's not right' All angry Then FSIL but in and said 'your shoes are supposed to be white and your garter is supposed to be your something blue!

WHO THE FUKC SAYS? So I said 'Sorry FMIL, it's 2011. white shoes and blue garter are not me. Blue shoes and zebra garter are!'

Too effing bad. I've done so much stuff for this wedding without complaint to make other people happy cause I just didn't care enough to fight about. MY shoes will be MY decision.

Haha! You should have seen FMIL's face when FH told her I was wearing sneakers! I can't wait to see everyone's face, especially my mom, when they see my bright orange chucks! Haha!

I don't understand why people are so stuck on 'it's supposed to be like this'. I got this from my mom and sister in the beginning of my wedding plans. About music choices and Bridesmaids colors. I was like NO WAY. My wedding, my way. If you did what you were 'Supposed to do' and now regret it, too bad for you! I'm going to do what I like.

UGH. Whenever FMIL does stuff like this, she can see the fire in my eyes. I get so angry. Every time I learn to just share less and less with her. I don't understand what they think. Did she expect you to say 'YOU KNOW WHAT, YOU'RE RIGHT!!!!' and just do as she says???? It's so DUMB! ughhh. I feel your pain, hall twin.

why do they care? let them think what they want! no one will see your garter anyway and your shoes can be your pop of color! enjoy it! this will be in pcitures that will be with you for the rest of your life!
