FMIL gave me the sweetest gift this morning...

She was acting really weird and was like, I have a gift for you...it's your wedding gift from me. OK??? your wedding gift. i am not giving you another one closer.

she bought me a new chain for my pendant....a 16' b/c the 18' is too LONG (and a bit flimsy)...but it was too thick (the 'hook' part) to fit through the pendant!!! she's going to take them together and remedy it...she felt sooooo bad...but i was soooo touched...i didn't know where the $$$ for a new chain was going to come from....awwwwww.

That's wonderful news! Now it will the perfect length.
