FMIL and I get along perfectly. She is awesome and has always treated me really well. I really am lucky, esp when i hear so many woman having problems with their FMIL.
It is so cute though, ever since we got engaged she is awlays referring to me as 'My Dauter in Law'.
Like FH will tease me and his mom will say.. 'leave my daughter in law alone'
I love how she is already talking about me as officially part of her family!!! She has awlays treated me as family.. this is just different!!
Just thougt I'd share!!

Yeah, I know what you mean,,,, my FMIL is the same way...it feels good when things go smoothly like that...Now my FSIL is another story!

i thought it was cute this valentines day when FMIL and FFIL gave me 'daughter in law to be cards' they bought one from both of them (but had to add in the 'to be')....and then FFIL gave me one just from him that he had specially made. it was so sweet!

well luckily i dont have to deal with that.. FH has a step bro (you dont get the sisterly drama there haha) and a half sister who is like 9 and in FL

I feel the same way. She is the best. I feel blessed. His family has always included me in everything because my family is far away. So I do everything with them.

That is so sweet. Isn't it nice to feel like you're 100% loved and accepted by his family?
A few months before we got engaged, my FMIL would introduce me as her FDIL, because she just knew we were going to wind up getting married.
But it such a comforting feeling..
