FMIL is OUT OF HER MIND!

FMIL is seriously out of her f$in mind!!!! She just called me seconds ago...we were talking about the RD which FIL's are in charge of. ....
So we start talking about the menu and to make a long story short...she goes...'well I was going to get FH a grooms cake!'
..R U OUT OF UR Fing mind!! Last i checked u were his MOTHER not his bride!...a grooms cake is from the BRIDE! (well thats what i always thought) ....Meanwhile i already have FH grooms cake booked and is being made and I WILL be giving it to him at the RH dinner...but i wanted to keep it a surprise!!!!! but she just completely ruined that ...sorryy had to vent...

can't you talk to her privately and explain this and then have her tell your FH that she changed her mind and doesn't want to spend the extra cash? or something like that...
