I am sorry sorry to hear that. Hopefully you can talk to them and explain to them with a cool head about how they need to keep their comments to themselves if it isn't going to be positive feed back

I have a feeling that in a month I will be butting heads with my FFIL and FSMIL over money because FFIL is already on FH's back about what we are spending our money on.

I can relate to what you're going through...FFIL and FMIL both have had no interest what-so-ever in the planning process so far. To them its 'still 2 years away, what are we worried about. why are we planning so much.' This month makes it 1.5 years away not 2 lol.....I would just do what YOU and FH want to do and then show them the final product. You've tried getting them involved, you have enough to worry about.

I would totally drop them from the loop lol maybe I'm mean. I haven't included my FIL's at all. They see pictures after my decision if I even remember to show them that.

At the end of the day it is YOUR wedding and the only opinion that really should matter is you and your FH. I think it is really nice of you that you would like to include them with certain things but if you are constantly getting negative feedback from them, I would refrain from showing them anything until it's the finished product. You really do not need that negative energy planning your special day. Just my opinion. Sorry if I may have came across abrasive = /

Same here. The other day I showed FMIL pictures of my dress and a bit later she tells me 'So it sounds like you have all of the big stuff booked. That's great!'

All I have so far is venue, photographer and videographer, and a dress ordered...They just have no clue how much work and planning goes into a wedding!

I wanted them to be included in planning, but they have barely shown any interest. I'm at the point where I just don't care anymore, it's not their day, it's ours. FSILs didn't even bother to ask me about my dress when FH told them I had ordered it that day. They're bridesmaids!

OMG, I understand what your going through HAW24. i love my inlaws but they can be soo annoying. Im 4 months away and it seems the closer we get the more drama that keeps coming up. Ive been trying to accommodate everyone but I decided today that im only going to please myself, someone will always be unhappy.

I feel like we're marrying into the same family!! lol ...They said the same thing to me with having things booked. They think everything is done lol. FSIL is also a bridesmaid and I cant even tell you the last time I talked to or have seen her

well the biggest question is who is paying for the wedding?!?! if its all you and FH then you put whatever you want and don't ask for approval. if they are contributing then you may have to rough it out :(
