FMIL really shocked me today
She hasn't told me yet, buy FSIL mentioned that Mom said that they may give us her old room. FH and I have the upstairs of the house (sort of) We have the 2 smaller rooms next to each other, and we have our own bathroom. FSIL's old room is the size of both of our little rooms put together. Our 2 little rooms are getting really really crowded.
FSIL lives upstate, and has said she has no intention of moving back home EVER - she is actually moving in with her boyfriend soon. FSIL is a little upset (not angry, just a little sad) which I understand - I hated 'losing' my room when I moved in with FILs. She just wants to know she has a room when she comes home, and somewhere to keep some of her extra stuff.
I am SHOCKED by this though. FMIL swore she would never use FSILs room for anything else, and this is such a big deal since we will be living here for quite some time still. I am very happy, and very excited - if it works out we will actually have our own 'mini-apartment'![]()
