okay how many times a day do you speak with FMIL. I swear she calls me so much I keep my cell phone off and screen my home calls. Ring a ling there she is again! I talk to my mom like twice a week. Calgon take me away!

I think in the last 3-4yrs we have been living together she has called once to talk to me. Sometimes i wish she would call me directly for wedding issues, cause i love him and everything but he doesn't do messages very well

My FMIL is in Israel! One of the benefits of marrying a foreigner... though, I'm the opposite... I really like her... I wouldn't mind talking to her often

I don't talk to my FMIL either.. Only when i pick up the phone and she says hi, is Tim there and i say hold on. But i am VERY OK with this situation!

Well we never spoke until she decided to plan my wedding- it's been very difficult- the closer it gets the calls increase and I hate her ideas

We did speak weekly, but recent events have both FH and I not speaking to her at all.

i actually just got off the phone with mine...
FH speaks to his mom once a week, i'll speak to her for a bit once a month for 1/2 hour or so if i don't pick up the phone first and chat a bit when they speak...

I speak with her 2-3 times a week. FH still lives with his parents so when I visit him, I see her. But she never calls me. The only time she ever did, she pressed redial instead of speed dial (she was calling her daughter). Boy was she confused.

I probably talk to my FMIL about once a month. It's not bad coz we get along really really well. At my shower this past weekend she was the one who bought me lingerie .

I used to talk to her all the time. We would e-mail but lately I haven't heard a word from her except from my FH saying that she says hi when he gets off the phone with her...Think I did something wrong?

I just got off the phone with mine as well...she wanted to addd a few people to our already large list. I talk to her I would say at least 3-4 times a week..sometimes more than once in a day...and sometimes ny FI doesn't want to talk to her so I have to relay the message. Or she just calls to talk wedding

hearing all of your horror stories makes me appreciate how wonderful of a woman she is , but she still needs to call less. I like me time, FH understands now if I can only get her to agree.

well my Fh still lives with his parents, so I talk to her whenever she answers the phone and we talk and then whenever I go over there I usually talk to her for a while before FH ever realizes I am there.. I love my FMIL she is so wonderful!

ETS: We get along good. No big fights; yet.

I am not so close with mine but am trying so its about once a week now that wedding plans are being made...need to start somewhere! But I talk to my mom 3 times a day, she lives next door...lol
