FMIL strikes again!!! Sorry kinda long...

Just as I have been sitting here for the last few days reading about other brides FMIL's and how horrible they can be I said to myself...'Self...maybe your FMIL isn't that bad, she hasn't bothered you in a good solid 2 weeks.'
Well I spoke toooooo soon!

Here is the gist of the conversation she just had with FH...........

1. We are being cruel and insensitive to people with children because they aren't invited.

This is after she has been told, if you invite one person with children you have to invite them all and we don't want the kids to out number the adults. It is our choice and if our guests don't like it we will be more than happy to discuss it with them.

2. Why on Gods Green Earth would we have shot glasses as our favors?

This is again after we explained to her that the shot glasses can also be used as a votive holder if the guest isn't a drinker...98% of our guests will be breaking them out at the after party!

3. She found a pink dress that she really likes. Would it be that big of a deal if she wore pink? And what is so bad if she wore a black suit to the wedding?

To me yes it would be. My girls are wearing pale green and all the accents are a pale pink. Months agao I showed her my colors and explained to her that I really wished that the MOB or the MOG did not wear these colors.
BLACK SUIT TO HER SONS WEDDING.........well I guess she made her point, she feels like she is going to a funeral.


I swear everytime we think these issues have been put to rest she brings them back up again. Sometimes I wish we didn't send out STDs and we could change the date so she wouldn't be there!!! Even FH is beside himself...he hung up on her.
