FMIL Strikes! (in a good way)

I just found out something that I was not supposed to know..
I'm sooo excited!

My FMIL and FFIL are really helping out paying for our wedding...that part I know about.

They have given so much aside from financial support It's so hard for me to accept more financial help from the two of them for more of the wedding costs. I had even told FH that whatever money we get from gifts we're offering half of it back to his parents as a thank you gift. He agreed with me on this.

As their gift to FH and I they are also sending us on our HM to Sandals in St. Lucia.

I found out on Fathers Day that she is throwing me a surprise Bridal shower... I am so floored. I am not supposed to know about it but my FFIL let the cat out of the bag so to speak. She and I get along so wonderfuly, and one of the best things I love about her is that we understand one another and also have the same tastes in almost everything.. I'm so wonderfully happy about having a bridal shower (I really didn't want to have one or an e-party considering the expense) but I'm worried that his mother might go overboard with it.
I'm also excited at the prospect of seeing people I haven't seen in quite a while.

I'm having the problem of keeping my mouth quiet that I know- I know it might be in July but we'll see. FH and my birthday is in July so I am guessing it might be around there.

I know I feel like they are my second parents (both of mine are deceased)- even when we go shopping together people think that my FMIL and I are really mother and daughter (even though we don't look alike).
I feel very lucky- I hear the horror stories of in laws and I'm grateful I don't have to put up with that.

You are very luck to have such great in laws. That is really sweet all the things she is doing and has done for you. She sounds like a wonderful lady.
