FMIL VENT!!!!!!!!

I had Laura from LA productions help me create invites that I wanted. I asked FMIL her opinion while we were designing them. She insulted them, said she hated the silver etc...
Now that they are out in the mail her friends are calling and saying how nice they are. She is actually taking credit for them. She is saying she had a hand in designing them and that it was her idea!
So, I called her on it, she totally lied to my face and said she always liked them.
I know I am petty, but I worked hard to create something I liked and she is taking the credit! AHHHHHHHH
I cant take much more of her!

I learned NOT to ask people who are directly involved in my wedding their opinion anymore. It's hard, but I've learned my lesson. Your experience is a prime example why.

I only ask for opinions here on this board. There's so much love in this room.

sorry! don't worry if their relatives know her they might already know, and you can always have FH in your side to defend you!

I am so sorry to hear that you are having MORE problems with your FMIL!

I think I would go insane if she were my FMIL! She seems to always be taking credit for your hard work! I would just stop saying anything to her anymore leaving her out of the loop not knowing a thing.....although she will probably STILL take credit for things!

She seems like a real monster-in-law Remember its your wedding maybe shes a little on the jealous side Lots of luck with the rest of your planning

What a *(&^*%&*!! Well, that being said, there's not much you can do but ignore it right? That is the higher ground here. Just let it go (after venting here of course!) and concentrate on the fact that people are complimenting something you worked hard to create!

Don't worry about it. It is your wedding, and most people know it isyou that is making all the final decisions on everything. Most people will give you credit for everything in your wedding; and I agree that you should not let your FMIL help you anymore!
