OK, so my FMIL really wanted to do the RD invites so I just let her- Well FH and I received two of them in the mail today (yes we each got our own even though we have been living together for over a year) and IT LOOKS TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not to mention that she cut and pasted from the invite she made for FBIL and FSIL two years ago and she forgot to change the restaurant phone number. I am so tired of her and FH gets so defensive anytime I say something about his mom. Give me the strength to keep my mouth shut for the next two weeks!

ugh!!! i totally hear you on that one! at least you got invites! i told FMIL i wanted them and she basically told me that the people invited to the RD have the responsibility themselves to know they have to be there! im now praying people get lost and show up late so i can say 'I TOLD YOU SO!'

Fmil has given me nothing but crap about having a RD and we are doing a BBQ at her house!! im flipping the bill she just thinks its stupid since we have 4 guys and 2 girls, i m trying to explain to her that i have to give out all the gifts unless i throw hers out first! i think im getting my pissed at her as we get closer maybe its just stress!

I dont think its the stress...i think its they just get more annoying as it gets closer!

Ohh please... Is nothing to what MIL did for my wedding!!! .... She got dressed 3 times!! IMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I didnt pay no mind because she was just the 'HILARIOUS' part of the wedding.. I made sure I put her in her place wayyyyy before the wedding came.. And she made a fool of herself the day of!! Ahhhh

At least she cared and offered to pay for it- trust me....TRUST ME it could be a lot worse.
I know it's a big deal now but in the end ... you should just be thankful she paid and wants to help someway, somehow...

She is only paying for it so she can say that she paid for it. She is not a bad person but she is use to being in charge of things. Her own family members have warned me that she is 'difficult' and they have told FH he needs to 'Stand up to his mom'. As with most in laws there has been a lot of other drama and I usually do not say anything BUT I think it is time to speak up. I know many people have bigger problems.
