FMIL Vent

FMIL is a hairdresser and I went to her shop yesterday for a hair trial... and for 2 hours straight, she subtly interrogated me about FH's fight with FBIL (the BM). They haven't spoken in just about 3 weeks, all over the stupid bachelor party that FBIL didn't throw FH because FH was 'selfish' because he wanted the groomsmen there, and FBIL wanted it to be just the two of them.

And for 2 hours, I had to sit there and repeatedly say that I wasn't getting involved and that they're brothers and they'll work it out. And while she pretended to stay neutral the whole time, we know it's fake because she's on FBIL's side and she made that clear since the fight began. And she ruined the entire experience because I had been looking forward to spending an afternoon with her doing this hair trial. As for the hair, we did two different styles and both were horrible and I'm going back next Monday. I hope to god FH and his brother speak on Christmas Eve when we are with the family because I cannot handle another interrogation like I got yesterday... I couldn't believe she had the nerve to question me like that... all because FH isn't speaking to her about it because he told her to stay out of it because she's nosey.

what a PITA! i'm sorry you have to deal with that during your trial! maybe if she brings it up next time, say 'you know, i'd really love for you to do my hair for the wedding but if you're just going to make it stressful for me by trying to interrogate me about their fight, i'm going to go elsewhere'
