fmil vent
well FMIL strikes again
I have had many issues with her in the past and she continues to do small things to aggravate me.
The first was last week she purchased our pot & pan set from he registry - a very nice & generous shower gift. She took the bonus items with her from the store to bring to the shower but shipped the pots and pans since they are heavy. She shipped them bc we dont get packages in our building. We called to thank her (also sending a ty card now that the shower is over). She called FH saturday (the day of my shower) and told him to not only bring them to the shower but to also wrap them! i dont understand if it was too heavy for you to schlep why would you expect us to take them back and forth to the shower?!?! how does that make sense?!?! if you wanted everyone to see the gift then ship it to the shower address (it was at a family members house). After she carried on like a lunatic, FH told her he is not bringing them and we would announce it at the shower so i did.
Next thing was also shower related...my BP decided to play the underwear game (they all got a pair and i had to decide who purchased what for me) and they included my mom. At the end of the party i commented to my sister that she really should have included FMIL. She said she did - she emailed her and asked her today if she brought a pair and she said no. FMIL then told her family that was at the shower that she was just asked to participate last week on Monday and her friend passed away on tuesday so she was too busy to get to the store. Well my sister fwd me the email that was dated end may. what a liar!!!!
she always is complaining that she feels excluded...well lady you are doing it to yourself!
