FMIL wants a limo to go to the chuch and reception

FH just told me that his mom wants a limo to go to the church and reception because she doesn't want her or her husband to drive and they have 10 house guests that day. When I said that my family is all going by car and they have room in their cars (and we live in the same town) FH said no she wants a limo.

I feel ridiculous saying this, but I hate the idea of all of his relatives making a grand entrance in a limo when my mom and grandmother, stepgrandfather and cousin will be getting out of a minivan.

Am I being petty and just letting it bother me because my countdown clock says 17 days?

My FIL's are getting a limo, just a plain black one no big deal, but my mother is accompanying me in my limo to the church & as long as they are taking care of their limo arangements & paying for it, It really doesn't make a diff to me.

You have a right to have your own feelings and they are not petty. If you feel strongly about this then insist that the Limo you hire is large enough to accomodate your family as well. Since you both live in the same town this should not be a problem

What I may do is just not remind FH to do this for his mother. He says he needs to be reminded to do things, so I will forget to remind him and then it will be too late.

With my luck, he will remember this one thing after forgetting so many things I have asked him in the past

i would say no the only people in a limo is u and ur bidal party .

Yeah I'd feel weird about it too but if that's what she wants to do and as long as she's willing to pay for it, then I wouldn't stress over it. And perhaps guests wouldn't even notice (especially if it's a black limo or a towncar)
